Inspiration
Radiology board preparation is case-heavy and time-constrained. A useful educational tool could combine structured case practice, follow-up questioning, and concise feedback to help residents rehearse image interpretation and oral-exam reasoning.
Concept
Radiology Board AI Coach is a concept for a case-based radiology learning assistant. The intended workflow is to present appropriately licensed/de-identified teaching cases, ask structured questions, provide educational feedback, and adapt future practice to the learner's demonstrated gaps. Any future multimodal image-analysis feature would need formal validation before being presented as reliable for educational use, and the product would not be positioned as a diagnostic clinical system.
What would need to be built and verified
A future competition-ready version would require a working prototype; documented data provenance and licensing; privacy-safe handling of any uploaded material; objective evaluation of question/feedback quality; clear limitations; reproducible tests; and a demonstrable end-to-end learner workflow. Any claims about users, revenue, integrations, compliance, deployment, or performance would be included only after they are actually established and evidenced.
Next steps
If this concept is revisited for a future competition, the next step is to build and test a narrow verifiable prototype first, then create a fresh submission using only evidence from that actual implementation.
