We wanted to address safety. We found that even though a BMW will give you a beep when you are close to something, visualizing your blindspot is still a challenge. If a car is close to you, you will hear a beep. If after that a kid runs up to retrieve his ball from the street, you have that same beep and it may be hard to decipher between them or see where the person is going. We wondered why with sensors around the entire car there was no representation of everything around you. So we built it.

How it works

We use the real-time data retrieved from the front and back sensors used for parking assist, and combine that with the infared cameras/regular camera's on both left and right sides of a new BMWi 3. Together, we create a 360 degree radar map that gives you the perfect birds eye view of whats around you.
