Pre Event Prediction: Race Strategy Monte Carlo Simulator

Use AI to test your set up and environment changes from Race 1 to Race 2 by adjusting a variety of inputs including driving style, braking zones, also adjusting for weather vs. original weather.

Inspiration

This feature is materially different than my main Submission to the Hackathon, so I'm sending it as a second submission. It is a Strategy Simulator that allows the race strategist to run the race with multiple simulations to determine setup or weather changes and provide insights to change between races.

What it does

Runs a monte carlo simulation. It ingests all provided race information and provides easy slider inputs to make changes to a variety of variables to determine and run 1000 + scenarios to determine if changes in track condition, car setup or driver styles would result in a better performance.

Challenges we ran into

Some datasets from lots of tracks are missing, the more data the better the output. Focused on Indianapolis and Barber for the purposes of this demo.
