We like fast cars.

What it does

As soon as you put the headset on, you are the driver of a Lamborghini Aventador. Press the trigger to begin driving, and pivot your head to steer.

How we built it

Graphics and VR built using Google Cardboard's plugin for Unity, and terrain constructed using the EasyRoad3D plugin for Unity.

Challenges we ran into

Transforming the vehicle and keeping positions consistent to the driver.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The little things that made the experience more realistic, such as turning the steering wheel inside the car as it turned.

How to integrate multiple different plugins into Unity and to make them all work together.

What's next for Race Car Driver

Support for a convertible car, and placing a USB fan in front of the user to let them feel the wind flowing through their hair as they drive!
