It started with a rabbit. My friends and I had been to many hackathons before, and we've created many games in the past. However, we wanted to try something new this time, which led us to make this game. One of our team members, Raymond, has always had an obscene fascination with rabbits. As he is a senior this year, we wanted to be able to create something for him to remember us by. As a result, we began brainstorming ideas for a game about rabbits. We started with the basic concept of raising a rabbit; but we decided that that was rather boring. We decided to take it a step further and allow these rabbits to dominate the world. While we mapped out the plot in the first thirty minutes of this hackathon, Jeremy, one of the cofounders of Make School, approached us and asked us about our idea. He inspired us to create a twist towards the end of the game, where the main character must decide to exterminate all of the rabbits he spent so much time raising. Our target user, as mentioned above is Raymond, a member of our group. However, we hope that many children and young adults would enjoy playing this game in their free time. We made sure to include many features that seem appealing to us so that this game would be enjoyable to all audiences. We are most proud of our implementation of our intuitive farming system. As time goes on in this game, players are able to interact with the bunnies while simultaneously being able to feed them. Overall, our experience at this hackathon was very good. In the grand scheme of things, this hackathon was much better organized than previous ones that we have been to.
