Inspiration
We were inspired to create a project that would talk about us and speak through what we believe in. We were inspired to add animations that would help us speak about ourselves better.
What it does
The website includes each of our team member's portfolios, along with animations and colors that would help bring light to who we are as people.
How we built it
We primarily used elements of website development (HTML, CSS, and a little bit of JavaScript) along with flask for rerouting pages throughout the website.
Challenges we ran into
None of us knew flask, so it was a little hard to get started with it and understand the details that come with it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud to be able to create a new website from scratch and include portfolios that speak about ourselves. We are also proud to have been able to integrate flask into this website with no major challenges.
What we learned
We learned a great deal of flask through this project, and how it pertains to website development in its entirety.
What's next for R2T2 portfolio
Outside of this hackathon, we would like to experiment more with animations and making the website more user-friendly. We would like to create portfolios in an animation/game structure wherein a page's look would change as the user scrolls down.
