"Reuse & Recycle to Zero Wastes" - for our Mother Earth

Inspiration

Our 4 team members are all very considerate about Mother Earth, about our environment. We are trying to Reduce - Reuse - Recycle with our family and friends. But we are having some difficulties because we can not reuse and recycle everything. And many times it's not convenient to sell stuff to "Vechai" ladies because we go to work or school most of daytime. So sometimes, we have to just throw stuff away. We believe other "Earth's friends" also have the same concerns. So we build a system to connect all the people who have stuffs to reuse and recycle with those who need the stuffs to reuse or recycle.

What it does

R20_Seller app

  1. User can add the stuffs they want to sell to recycler or reusers ( Plastic bags, Plastic bottles, Carton boxes, etc) After selling the stuffs, user will receive point to buy vouchers within the system
  2. User can view Calendar to see when the buyer will collect the stuffs & set up the time for collecting
  3. User can view the Purse to see how many points she has got and can buy vouchers (food & drinks, Grab, interiors, etc)
  4. User can join the Community of Earth's friends to share their own Reuse - Recycle stories or to read/ comment to others' stories
  5. User can view and edit their profile information

R20_Buyer app

  1. User can set up how many kgs they want to collect and how far from home is ok for them. System will detect the area suitable for their needs.
  2. User will collect stuffs with system's suggestion.
  3. After collecting stuffs, users will pay via their Momo/ Zalopay/ credit card/ ATM, etc.
  4. User can view their buying history
  5. User can view and edit profile information and invite friends to use system

How we built it

  • Brainstorming together to build wireframes
  • Draw wireframes on Whimsical
  • Transfer wireframes to Invision
  • Learn how to code React native mobile app and code on Expo.io

Accomplishments that we're proud of

In just two days, we were able to convert an idea from scratch to a visual user interface with graphic design tools such as Invision, Whimsical. From sparks of idea, we were team-working, planning and designing in order to turn our ideas into an mobile app that we hope can make an impact to the environment and the community. Even though our team did not have professional coding skill, we believe that we have perfect team works and we have tried our best to visualize out idea.
