We wanted to make a rhythm game where we could put our own music without having to wait for someone to create a beat map.
What it does
It uses the frequency of the songs to generate notes in real time.
How we built it
We used Unity Engine. the assets were built in Maya and Photoshop.
Challenges we ran into
Constant bugs with the buttons, and always having to reset after one song.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
It can play any song with a .mp3 .ogg or .wav extensions. The notes are generated in real time.
What we learned
The challenges of game design with a limited time constraint.
What's next for R' Music
Being able to import other extensions, and to implement a quit system, and a pause button.
