Nothing worked! It was our first time attempting a chrome extension so we basically googled our way to here.

Learning Chrome API's and parsing website text content.

What we learned

JavaScript from scratch. Chrome has awful API.

What's next for /r/Eyebleach, the Chrome Extension

Doing customizable filters to allow users to input their own selection of words. Possible overlays instead of popups.
