Inspiration

We really like quantum computing. Another thing that we like are card games. We thought it might be cool to combine this two things

What it does

It is a simple Gwent-like card game. Your cards are quantum logic gates, that you use on 6-qubit circuit. Players goal is to measure the most 0 for Player 1 or 1 for Player 2 at the end of the game.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are very happy that the program turned out exactly how we imagined so we would say that the whole project was very satisfying.

What we learned

We've learned very much about making GUI in python as it was our first approach to creating a window application. We've also learned that spending 10 hours in a row in front of computer is reaally bad for your eyes.

What's next for Qwent

We are thinking about adding some gates to the game, let the players decide for example the size of circuit they will battle on. We would also like to add descriptions of the gates to the cards. We could certainly work on the graphic side of the game and make it possible to play on different computers.
