Inspiration

Students often struggle to find reliable study resources, understand complex topics, and stay organized. We wanted to build an AI-powered learning assistant that provides personalized support anytime, anywhere. QwenEdu AI was inspired by the idea of making quality education more accessible and engaging through AI.

What it does

QwenEdu AI is an intelligent learning assistant powered by Qwen. It helps students:

Answer academic questions instantly
Summarize notes and study materials
Generate quizzes and flashcards
Create personalized study plans
Explain complex concepts in simple language
Assist with coding and problem-solving

How we built it

We built the application using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend, with Python (Flask) for the backend. The Qwen large language model powers the AI features, enabling natural conversations, content summarization, quiz generation, and personalized learning assistance.

Challenges we ran into

Some of the main challenges included integrating AI responses smoothly, designing an intuitive user interface, managing prompt quality for accurate results, and ensuring fast response times while keeping the application simple and easy to use.
