Inspiration

The glorious Quran is the book of guidance for the whole of mankind. Quran is the most read and most memorized book in the world for centuries. Unfortunately, it is the only book read and memorized without understanding. We intend to provide a platform that can aid people in understanding the Quran while reading it.

What it does

Quranicpedia provides a platform where all possible explanations for deeper understanding with references are available and develop enhanced understanding. It is a one-platform concept that will provide every possible resource for an explanation. It has information and material designed for children to any research scholar in different fields, religious and scientific. Quranicpedia is a concept of incorporating all Quranic details ( recitations, translations, tafaseer, memorizing tools, Hadiths linking the verses of the Quran. comparative religious references, scientific facts, maps, diagrams, audios, videos, research material) with the aid of modern digital technology all on one platform, just at a click, for better understanding and interpretation at all levels. The project displays a unique style of correlating Quranic signs with scientific facts, researches, explanations, vocabulary and hyperlink tags, visual representations, virtual tours, and lectures. It also displays the authentic work of different scholars. It will give the best authentic researched information to anyone searching about Quran.

How we built it

With a complete database and development of a website, iOS, and Android App. Management, virtual reality, and validation. Scholars approval, authentication, verification, and certification.

Challenges we ran into

Finding audios on various subjects in multiple languages. Translations in different languages.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The Quranicpedia project will be displaying a unique style of correlating Quranic signs with scientific facts, researches, explanations, vocabulary and hyperlink tags, visual representations, lecturers of scholars, 3D virtual reality tours, misconceptions, and so on. This project will serve as a global platform where any researcher or scholar of Quran and Hadith can display their work after authentication. It will be one universal platform to collect the vast knowledge of the Quran. This will be a revolutionary project that will benefit Muslims as well as non-Muslims globally.

What we learned

A better and deeper understanding of the Holy Quran by using the latest forms of technology which was used to explain the Quran by photos, videos, geotags, geographical maps, scientific facts, lectures of scholars, and research articles linking Quranic verses and hadeeths.

What's next for Quranicpedia

The project is an ongoing process. As there are new discoveries, inventions, and research, the Quranicpedia will be updated accordingly and also the newer technological tools will be upgraded.
