Inspiration

We wanted to make something uplifting and inspiring!

What it does

It is a website that randomly selects a famous quote to show. You can also add your own quotes.

How we built it

We used Velo by Wix to build it, which uses JavaScript.

Challenges we ran into

None of us have ever used Velo or JavaScript before, so that was our first challenge. The biggest challenge was getting the add your own quote feature to work the way we wanted, but we figured it out together!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This is the first hackathon any of us have participated in, so we're proud of ourselves for doing our best and making something that works!

What we learned

We learned some basic JavaScript. We also learned just how short a weekend is for making an entire project.

What's next for Quotle

Next for Quotle would be making it capable of pulling quotes from the Internet or a large database instead of being hard coded in.
