Track
Track 2 — RudCo | RFQ to Quote
Inspiration
Industrial RFQs mix abbreviations, dimensions and missing requirements. A useful draft should show what supports each quoted line and make uncertainty actionable before a person sends it.
What it does
QuoteProof accepts pasted or uploaded RFQ text, extracts supported sheet specifications, matches a supplied or clearly labeled synthetic catalog, preserves original source text, and flags ambiguous or unsupported lines. Users can clarify missing dimensions and download CSV or JSON quote drafts. Unresolved lines are excluded from priced totals; ready for review does not mean approved for a buyer.
How I built it
A Node.js HTTP server and dependency-free browser UI call a deterministic parsing and validation engine. SharedNet Goal Mode coordinated four Codex agents with integration, engine, UI, and verification responsibilities. A second supervised run addressed independent quality findings. SharedNet was existing tooling; the QuoteProof application was built today. AI tools assisted development; extraction and price validation remain rule based. An optional, user-triggered Nicrron explanation adapter was added after the baseline demo was recorded. It provides advice for human review and cannot change or approve the quote.
Accuracy and uncertainty
Each line retains verbatim RFQ source. Missing prices and certification evidence are not invented. Missing or conflicting specifications and negative or fractional quantities are blocked from pricing. Clarifications remain distinguishable from the original request. Synthetic catalog prices are labeled. Exported CSV cells guard against spreadsheet formula interpretation. Independent HTTP and Chromium checks exercised quoting, mobile clarification and downloads; the prototype has a limited supported RFQ grammar.
Challenges and learning
Holdout tests exposed quantity and mixed-unit errors and a missing mobile clarification field; the quality run corrected these cases. A passing initial checker is not equivalent to product completion: independent cases and real browser workflows found defects the initial checks missed.
Accomplishments
A runnable, dependency-free RFQ-to-draft workflow with evidence, editable clarification, CSV/JSON export, mobile layout and reproducible HTTP tests.
Next steps and limitations
Connect authorized supplier catalogs and market benchmarks, expand document and specification coverage, and implement and verify sponsor integrations. Nicrron optional explanations and Block Convey/PRISM live tracing have been verified in the running temporary preview: a real browser sample returned an explanation and displayed “PRISM trace: recorded. Quote unchanged.” The deterministic quote remains authoritative. PRISM guardrail, evaluator and knowledge-base requirements are not fully implemented or verified; full sponsor compliance is not claimed. There is no persistent public app deployment.

Demo video
The recording shows the earlier baseline workflow; its sponsor-status captions predate the optional Nicrron explanation addition. 74-second real browser recording (MP4 download): https://www.sharednet.ai/f/art_Ii21FF7PfV?k=afk_LwzF1PsAOZZrAWfkGYb4f-RZ9xzplP4WiSrYnHKbuvc
