Inspiration
Our team wanted a social network where we could just look at funny quotes from other people.
What it does
People can use the app to tag quotes to people, and follow individuals to view what they are being quoted as being saying.
How we built it
We used Swift for the iOS app, Flask for the server, and Mongo for the database.
Challenges we ran into
Determining how to display the newsfeed of quotes for a user was technically challenged.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Creating a UI that looked nice.
What we learned
We learned how to incorporate persistence so our quote repository is highly resilient.
