Inspiration

It all started with a simple observation: time is our most precious resource, yet it’s constantly slipping through our fingers. As professionals, we’re pulled in a thousand directions—endless meetings, overlapping commitments, and the constant pressure to be everywhere at once. We’ve all been there: rushing from one Zoom call to another, feeling like we’re barely keeping up, let alone excelling. The turning point came during a particularly hectic week. One of our co-founders had back-to-back meetings across multiple time zones while trying to finalize a critical project. By Friday, they were completely drained—not because they lacked ideas or motivation—but because they simply didn’t have enough bandwidth. That’s when we asked ourselves: What if there was a way to be in two places at once? What if we could create a digital version of ourselves that could take over routine tasks while we focused on what truly mattered?

What it does

This is your Digital Twin... It can attend meetings on your behalf

How we built it

Explored MultiModal Live API capabilities and eventually chose HeyGen working with Open AI with ApertureDB to store/process/consume Knowledge content enriched with AI to do the job for you

Challenges we ran into

Evolving / Immature state of Live MultiModal APIs Gemini instructions did not work as stated in the docs HeyGen is still evolving to support a custom interactive avatar

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We got our hands wet with all the currently available Multi Modal APIs We got our knowledge content persisted in Aperture DB We integrated HeyGen with OpenAI We leveraged NextJS for showcasing our UI

What we learned

Fine tuning takes hell a lot of effort... It's quick to get to say solving 75% of the problem how ever, the last mile is always very challenging with AI mostly being probabilitic.

What's next for QuMe

Build all of the features planned Scale the product Explore deeper integrations with calendar & rest of the enterprise knowledge content repository
