Inspiration

We were inspired by the effectiveness of AI in today's world and the lack of free, quality quiz platforms.

What it does

Quizzard is a quiz app where you can select a set of random questions from any core subject. Answer a question under a time limit with AI-generated hints and expert explanations.

How we built it

Using a node.js express server with embedded javascript (ejs), the openAI API, jQuery, Bootstrap, and Font Awesome for styling and functionality. Front-end with HTML and CSS.

Challenges we ran into

We feel like there was no one major challenge that we were stuck on. Sometimes when we worked on the code at the same time, we ran into errors relating to collisions with each other. 10 small errors, gone in seconds.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the overall user interface, AI usage, and implementation. Everything styled well functioned well and came out better than we wanted it to.

What we learned

We learned multiple styling skills in Bootstrap, javascript basics, node.js servers, and how to communicate effectively and clearly with AI.

What's next for Quizzard

We are looking forward to expanding Quizzard into a multi-nation platform for all ages and races everywhere. We are looking to expand our topics and questions to support all ages. We are also looking to expand our AI prompts.
