Inspiration

Learning something new and challenging, while simultaneously accomplishing our task and creating a useful product

What it does

If you've ever needed to cram in information before a test/quiz or if you hate having to look up formals that are hard to memorize, our app will suit all your needs. With QuizWiz Ti, you can create your own flashcards and quizzes and import them to your calculator. This allows you to have easy access to all your study information to quickly refresh your memory for an exam.

How we built it

Using an virtual environment to emulate a Ti-84 Plus CE calculator. The calculator component of this project runs solely on C and some researched TI libraries. The website component was built using a react web application.

Challenges we ran into

There was not much documentation available for us to learn how to use the TI libraries, so we had to learn through a lot of trial and error. Our group also had varying skill levels between the web application and the C portion of the project.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

All of it.

What we learned

This was a great experience for some of our members as they were not experienced in Linux, C, React, & GitHub as well as researching through only documentation.

What's next for QuizWiz Ti

Adding functionality of importing sets of questions and customizing trivia quizzes, as well as adding a broad database of random brain teaser questions.
