Inspiration

Studying is hard. Making study materials is even harder. Teachers spend hours creating quizzes manually, and students waste time re-reading notes without testing themselves. I built QuizForge to make quiz creation instant — paste any text and get a complete interactive quiz in seconds.

What it does

QuizForge is an AI-powered quiz generator for students and teachers. Just paste any text or topic and QuizForge instantly:

• Generates multiple choice questions with 4 answer options each
• Provides correct answers with explanations for every question
• Offers difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, Hard)
• Shows instant feedback after each answer
• Tracks your quiz history and scores
• Lets you share quizzes with friends via link
• Features a leaderboard for friendly competition

How I built it

Built entirely using MeDo — no manual coding required. I described the app in natural language and MeDo generated the complete full-stack application including React frontend, Supabase database, and Gemini 2.5 Flash AI for intelligent question generation.

Challenges I ran into

Getting the AI to generate genuinely challenging and educationally relevant questions — not just surface-level recall. The questions needed to test real understanding, not just memorization.

What I learned

AI can democratize education. What used to require a teacher hours to create — a well-structured quiz with meaningful questions — can now be done by anyone in seconds.
