Made by Henry Zheng, Youwei (Anthony) Zhen, Randy Sim
We were inspired by apps like Kahoot! and Quizizz. However, we wanted our solution to be viable for a graded test in a real public school.
What it does
It allows teachers to create quizzes, and allows students who created an account to join said live quizzes. It allows teachers to get detailed statistics on student scores after said quizzes.
How we built it
We divided the work, having different people work on different functions of the project and merged them all together. Surprisingly, it worked extremely well.
Challenges we ran into
The hardest part of this entire thing was most likely backpain. This was expected as we were coding from 7AM in the morning to 12 AM at night without rest.
But seriously, a challenge we ran into was testing code. None of the code was tested until the very end, and fortunately it worked. (With the addition of scrambling an hour before the project fixing a database bug)
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of making a functional app within a day and a half. We have never accomplished something so quickly We also figured out how to use branches in github and merging code, which made the process a whole lot easier. Most importantly, we're all proud of our growth over the past year. All of us are beginner coders who have started just a year ago, dreaming to make something, and here we are today, finally done, ready to submit. It makes all the physical and mental pain we suffered while coding this project worth it.
What we learned
We learned that we need to make unit tests for a code, and we also have to write our own tests to ensure top performance.
