Inspiration
i want to use it for studying csv files are widely used since for example, sheets is a simple platform where its one of the most widely used my first thought was "trivia quiz" but to make it impactful, i wanted to make it useful to society by making it helpful for any type of quiz. Not only my own trivia, but they can also input their own if they want.
What it does
you can choose to play the default trivia quiz or input your own quiz with headliners 'question', 'answer', 'points' each point is considered one minute you can only change your answer once and you cant skip questions you can change your answers once you finish all required questions and the timer hasnt reached 0-- similar to exam style you can choose how many questions you want to play, or all of them
it validates if you chose a valid file it validates if you chose correct number of questions shows a percentage of what scores you got right shows the correct answers
How we built it
since python is my first language and im proficient in it i used python i started out on replit since im more comfortable with it
Challenges we ran into
i had a difficult time using dictionaries and also file handling but now i can say i am proficient in them.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
the implementation of other files instead of my own so it can be more widely used Also due to the many conditional statements i got confused with the indentations and made it a longer time to debug didnt know how to use github
What we learned
using time library since ive never used it before how to handle csv files
What's next for Quiz Maker
i have yet to implement it like kahoot where i can use images to ask the questions making it in github making it so that i can see the time live
Built With
