We qualify as a beginner group!
Inspiration
Our group wanted to combine the education, sustainability, and finance categories to create a fun quiz game. We thought about how children today are often on devices from a very young age, either watching videos and TV or playing video games. It is necessary for young kids to have access to educational but fun games, which is what we were aiming to create. The game relates to all three categories because it educates children about the topics of finance and the environment.
What it does
We created a choose-your-own-adventure game where you make life choices. Each life choice will result in an increase or decrease of financial and sustainability points. At the end of the game, your score is calculated and we give advice based on your specific score.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
None of us had ever used HTML or CSS or Java Script. We feel very proud that we figured out how to use those languages.
What's next for quiz game
On our website, we will add more educational quiz games to create a source for children to explore the consequences of their actions.
