✨ Inspiration
We’ve always believed that creativity shouldn’t be limited by technical skill. In a world where everyone has ideas but not everyone can code or model in 3D, Quixalyn was born to bridge imagination and creation using AI.
Our goal:
Let people create, heal, or explore immersive 3D environments just by expressing their thoughts — blending AI generation, augmented reality, and NFT preservation.
We were inspired by a mix of: • Storytelling worlds like Zelda and Avatar • The rise of GenAI tools like ChatGPT and Midjourney • Our desire to democratize immersive design for everyone
⸻
🧠 What We Learned
Over the course of the hackathon, we dove deep into: • 3D scene generation using text prompts • AR scene rendering via web-based platforms (Three.js, WebXR) • Token-based preservation using mock NFTs on testnets • Predictive environment evolution using user sentiment or ongoing prompts
We also explored how design can influence emotion — building worlds that aren’t just beautiful, but healing or motivating.
⸻
🛠️ How We Built It
Our stack: • Frontend: React + Three.js (for 3D rendering) • Backend: Node.js + Flask API to handle prompts • AI Integration: GPT-4 for world description parsing → 3D object mapping • AR: WebXR API • NFTs (mocked): Polygon testnet, using OpenZeppelin contracts and Pinata for IPFS • Design Assets: Used generative AI to build icons, thumbnails, and demo landscapes
Process: 1. User enters a thought (e.g. “A calming forest with glowing rivers”) 2. GPT parses and tags the environment 3. The system dynamically generates and renders a 3D world in-browser 4. Users can preserve worlds as NFTs or explore in AR
⸻
🧗 Challenges We Faced • 3D rendering performance on low-end devices • Generating consistently believable environments from vague prompts • Making AI output modular enough to adapt into a real-time scene graph • Time constraints — getting AR and NFT features fully integrated under 48 hours was a sprint
⸻
🚀 What’s Next • Enable multi-user world collaboration • Add emotion-driven world evolution (e.g. a sad prompt shifts weather, color, music) • Launch a creator economy around user-generated worlds
