Inspiration
We love spending other people's money. We hate saving receipts, taking photos of them and keep loosing them.
What it does
- Quiti.fi sends you notifications of your credit card transactions in real time.
- The system enables the seller to add their digital receipt to the transaction.
- The user has an mobile app can view the receipt in her phone next to the transaction data.
- If the merchant has not attached a receipt, the user can take a photo of the receipt.
- You can send the receipts and transaction data to your accountant.
How I built it
We did the UI design sketches using Sketch and material UI library. We are using the OP-API for getting the transaction data. We built the transaction simulator with javascript. We used Android material design library to build the UI. Android app monitors the transactions and we are using android camera app take photos of the receipts. We are using the Azure to store the cloud receipts. We are using Wordpress to host the marketing site. We used Bitbucket for version control. We used Google drive for design asset sharing. We used Skype for team communication. We reserved the domain from the
Challenges I ran into
Doing anything on Android takes time. The API's dont really work with real live data.

Winning the payment track, OP hack and going to Slush finals. Then getting a funding and making billions and creating instant love with our millions of users. Not really. One step at the time.
