Quit Your Job Motivational App

doge telling you to quit your job

Inspiration

The inspiration for this project was seeing the category for pissing people off on LinkedIn. Since LinkedIn is all about posting job and career updates, I thought that people seeing a project telling people to quit the job that they worked so hard for are are flaunting now and getting clout for would make them angry. It's meant to look as bad and basic as possible because it would definitely piss someone off on linkedin if they saw it as a winner.

What it does

This "motivational" app on the surface level just looks like it would generate quotes

How we built it

git hub pages lol. I followed a basic structure with an html, css, and js file containing all the functions, quotes, and the look of the page and functionality.

Challenges we ran into

it was really hard making bad quotes

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud that I was able to do this solo for my 2nd hackaton and the number of quotes I was able to generate for this.

What we learned

I learned my colour hex codes.

What's next for Quit Your Job Motivational App

I hope that it looks nicer and more cursed next time.
