About QuikDoc
QuikDoc is a simple and efficient doctor–patient appointment scheduling application built using React Native and Expo. It was created to solve one of the most common problems in healthcare: the difficulty of managing appointments smoothly for both patients and doctors. Instead of relying on manual registers, phone calls, or unorganized booking systems, QuikDoc offers a clean, modern, and user-friendly digital interface.
The app provides separate dashboards for patients and doctors, making it easy for patients to book appointments and for doctors to view and manage their schedules. QuikDoc also includes a built-in AI-assisted chat interface to guide users through the booking process and provide quick responses, even with offline fallback support. Additional features include practice insights for doctors, appointment history for patients, and a visually appealing UI with gradients, animations, and fast navigation.
QuikDoc was never meant to be a full healthcare solution—it was intentionally designed as a lightweight appointment scheduler, but building it helped us understand the larger problems in the healthcare ecosystem.
