Volunteers need control over when they can be interrupted. Quiet Mesh explores explicit agreements for routing requests without demanding constant availability. Volunteers define time windows, topics, urgency thresholds and daily caps. A request is classified into structured labels, then a deterministic router checks those labels against each agreement and explains routing or queue decisions.
The Node.js prototype uses a server-side NVIDIA Nemotron adapter on Nebius Token Factory. In one direct live test, classify labeled a PostgreSQL outage as infrastructure and high urgency, with PostgreSQL and incident-response skills. The application validates output before routing; broader reliability and user experience have not been established. Real notification channels and time-zone-aware scheduling are future work.
