Inspiration

Opening an investment account can be intimidating, confusing, and time-consuming. We wanted to make this first step seamless and approachable, guiding users without overwhelming them.

What it does

QuickVest features a simple, intuitive form paired with an AI-powered chatbot assistant. The chatbot guides users through each step of the account opening process, answering questions and ensuring they complete the form confidently.

How we built it

We built QuickVest using a React frontend for the form interface and a Node.js/Express backend to handle chatbot requests. The AI assistant leverages OpenAI’s GPT API to provide conversational guidance in real-time.

Challenges we ran into

  • Handling API errors and quota limits during development.
  • Integrating the AI chatbot with the form smoothly.
  • Ensuring the UI remained clear and user-friendly while the chatbot responded dynamically
