  Rough Out Makes My Exam Less Rough :D

Inspiration

To make revising for exams easier in a digitalized way.

What it does

Rough Out is targeted at improving the retention capabilities of students by providing them with a gist of the important topics covered in lectures.

How we built it

Rough Out is an AI enabled solution to retrieve video highlights from video sequences and further process them to yield text. An approach analogous to Bloom’s Taxonomy wherein, important information such as topic introduction, examples, main points and conclusion are encapsulated into a lecture video summary - this required building a custom corpus and mapping timestamps back to the original video sequences.
