Inspiration
I just wanted to see all my photos that are in various folders in one go. Nothing much inspiring. Just wanted to do something to kill time.
What it does
It basically slides through all your photos in your android phone at an interval of 3 seconds.
How I built it
Mostly using Android Studio as the IDE. Java language and a library called Glide to compress the images if needed. A little bit of XML for the UI and gradle to build the whole project.
Challenges I ran into
The app keeps crashing because the cache to store all the images gets full. To maintain that, it really took me some time before I discover Glide.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Seeing the app run for the first time on my phone gave me the "aaaahhhh" moment and I felt pretty damn proud of myself, although it is a very poorly designed app.

Will try to add some more customization like adding filters to the photos and stuff. May be play John Mayer when the slideshow is on. :p
