Inspiration

We were inspired by our own struggle of spending loads of time reading pdf's for assignments during the covid-19 lockdown period of 2020, for me it was very frustrating since due to my decreased speed even was unable to complete some assignments on time i wanted to help others going through the same problem thus i made this web app my coworker was inspired by the applicability of this app we were collectively inspired by our vision of the possibility of this app impacting lives on a huge scale

What it does

reading online documents is inefficient and a tedious task, often taking a lot of valuable time that people have .Our web app that is powered with ai will help people navigate and extract info from the document through chat with an ai(user can ask any type of question related to the pdf) our product increases efficiency and saves time, you are able to chat with a fun ai, we can handle any type of questions, you can go to demo.com to quicky sign up and start using our product

How we built it

we divided the whole code base into components (eg: components for working with api, components for the chat ui, components for the user authentication, etc) and then imported all of the components into the main directory and linked them to the main file(server.js)

Accomplishments that we're proud of

this hackathon is the first ever hackathon that our team took part in, During these three days we ran into many challenges( most of the time available was spend on fixing bugs 😂lol) after fixing all the the major bugs we were able to make a MVP of our original vision in shorts we are proud of what we were able to built in the little time we had

What we learned

[0]we learned cooperation & coordination (ie: How to work through the internet) [1]we learned how to use hop ignite(although it was frustrating at first when we tried to set things up for deployment ,the lack of study materials also increased the frustration) ,hop when mastered properly can be a very cool tool to have on your arsenal [2]we learned about fragmenting our code [3]we learned to SQL database [4]also we developed some public speaking skills
