Inspiration
We wanted to make remote learning more enjoyable and accessible. Different students learn in different ways, and having a whiteboard can really help visual learners who might be struggling with remote learning.
What it does
Our whiteboard app allows educators to draw and visualize their lessons using 4 different colors, 10 different pen sizes, and an eraser.
How we built it
We built our whiteboard with Java using the Swing API.
Challenges we ran into
We had some difficulties utilizing the graphics API of Java.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were glad we could implement a save feature, so that the image could be downloadable, which makes our app great for use in remote learning.
What we learned
We learned a lot about collaborating using GitHub!
What's next for Quick Byte - Whiteboard App
In the future, we'd love to implement more robust features, and cleaner drawings.
