Inspiration:
We have noticed a decline in high schoolers and college students studying and being able to retain information.
What it does:
This game allows the user to put in their own questions from classes that they have and it will save to that file. While playing the game, you defeat enemies such as salamanders, ogers, eye blobs, and even a dragon.
How we built it:
We primarily wrote this using Python, and we collaborated over GitHub so we could all work simultaneously
Challenges we ran into:
Our primary roadblocks were sleep deprivation and bottlenecks. the first was solved by allowing one four-hour nap for each team member, while bottlenecks were solved by having people work on code that, while not exactly what went into the final product, served as the foundation for large portions of the game
Accomplishments that we're proud of:
We are quite proud of making not only a game that people can play and enjoy, but also a study aid so that anybody willing to make questions into a CSV can have fun while learning
What we learned:
We learned quite a lot about using unfamiliar libraries and working on a deadline, as due to somewhat early issues, we ended up underestimating how long it would take to produce and edit videos. as such, we have learned to always remain working
What's next for Knowledge Knights:
We will add another world and a place where you can return home. This will add a story element to the game. In addition, we will upgrade the resolution to allow for higher fidelity infographics.
