Inspiration

During our journey, we checked and are still checking many platforms to analyze both stress-relief games and crypto games in QuestArcade, we wanted to mix those two seperate categories together and make people enjoy and familiar with BTTC network. It’s our greatest focus and feature. Also in new games, we want to include game-in purchases to provide more environments, colours, and sounds etc.

What it does

QuestArcade provides stress-relief games through the BTTC network to relieve users who want to relax from their busy business and academic lives. With blockchain technology, QuestArcade has a value to accelerate and facilitate the membership transactions of our users by using BTT advantages and to be a part of increasing the total transaction volume in a fun way. All fun and relaxing games are collected on one platform and subscription system to access more games and embark on new adventures. This subscription system also depends on the transactions that users can make with a click on the BTTC network.

How we built it

Our project was crafted through meticulous research and development, employing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Web3.js for blockchain integration. We utilized APIs like BTTScan for transaction data. Git enabled seamless collaboration, while Agile practices facilitated iterative development. Continuous integration and deployment pipelines ensured rapid delivery. Our project demonstrates proficiency in full-stack development, blockchain integration, API utilization, and agile project management.

Challenges we ran into

While users are experiencing the games and relaxing pages on our site. We try to create our games and all sub-platforms using javascript and css, and we take care not to use any extra external extensions or high-resolution images or gifs so that users do not download large doses of files and increase the number of errors they may encounter. That's why we create all game and animation effects using mostly css and javascript. Although this situation is sometimes challenging, it helped and is still helping push our creativity limits.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

As we develop each new game or relaxation page, we learn new things and encounter new errors/bugs. We are proud of the fact that we never complained while overcoming these stuffs and always maintained our harmony within the team.

What we learned

Throughout this project, we deepened our web development skills, integrating blockchain and APIs with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Leveraging Web3.js, we seamlessly connected to Ethereum, while the BTTScan API facilitated dynamic transaction data display. We also crafted various engaging games using CSS and JavaScript, showcasing our versatility and creativity. This project underscored the importance of teamwork, iterative development, and agile methodologies in delivering impactful software solutions.

What's next for QuestArcade

Game Expansion: Integrate +12 new games (total 20) by August 2024, working with developers and focusing on user-preferred genres. User Engagement: Add multiplayer to two games, introduce leaderboards, and start weekly challenges to boost interaction. Activating in-game trades using BTT Monetization Improvement: Seek revenue from in-game purchases and ads, aiming for +500 accounts with premium mode and investor interest by September 2024.
