Inspiration

School procurement teams lose time chasing approvals across chat, email, and spreadsheets. KoraFlow turns that fragmented process into one clear workflow so schools can purchase essential supplies faster and with better accountability.

What it does

KoraFlow is a procurement approval workspace for schools. Staff create purchase requests, reviewers approve or reject them, and everyone can track status, priority, budget, and activity from a shared dashboard.

How we built it

The frontend is a responsive Next.js and React application. The backend contract was designed in Sub0 using declarative JSON models and API specifications for creating, listing, and approving requests and for retrieving activity history. The source is hosted publicly on GitHub.

Challenges we ran into

LingoQL's GitHub repository selector returned “No matching data” even though the LingoQL Repo Manager GitHub App was installed on the correct lsh2546 account with access to all repositories. The promised hackathon credit also remained at $0.00. We documented the workspace and installation IDs and reported the platform-side synchronization and provisioning issue.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We completed a polished, usable workflow product, a public source repository, a live fallback demo, and a complete Sub0 backend specification within the hackathon window.

What we learned

We learned how declarative backend specifications can reduce infrastructure work and how important transparent workflow history is for operational software.

What's next for KoraFlow

Next we will connect the completed Sub0 APIs to production data, add role-based access, notifications, budget policies, and deploy the frontend on LingoQL as soon as the repository synchronization issue is resolved.

Deployment note

The application and Sub0 backend configuration were completed before the deadline. LingoQL deployment is currently blocked by a platform-side GitHub synchronization issue. A working fallback demo and public source repository are provided.
