What it is
Quegly is a social media scheduler for creators, brands and agencies. Write your post once, pick your platforms, and it goes out to all of them at the time you choose. Then see how every post did on every platform, so you can make more of what works.
Why I built it
I run a few apps and post short videos for them every day. Uploading the same video to six different apps, one at a time, took hours, and every platform has its own settings. So I built one place to post everywhere, see what worked, and answer comments automatically.
Post everywhere at once
- Instagram: photos, carousels, Reels and trial reels. Add up to 3 collaborators and tag up to 20 people
- TikTok: videos and photo posts, with privacy, comments, duet, stitch and branded content settings, or send it to your TikTok drafts
- YouTube: public, private or unlisted, with your own thumbnail
- Facebook Pages: text, photos, videos, and Reels with collaborator Pages
- X: text, up to 4 photos or a video, and tag people
- Threads: text, photos and videos with a topic tag
- One caption for every platform, or a different one for each
- Pick the video cover from any frame, or upload your own
Plan your month
- A calendar with everything coming up, up to 90 days ahead
- Swipe right to see a day's posts, swipe left to write a new one
- Post now or schedule, edit, delete, and retry a platform that failed
- It remembers the platforms and settings from your last post
See what's working
- Views, likes, comments and shares for every post, on every platform
- Each platform adds its own stats, like saves and watch time on Instagram, subscribers gained on YouTube, and link clicks on X
- Filter by platform and date, and open any post live
- Find the videos that went viral so you can make more like them
Turn comments into DMs
- On Instagram and Facebook, when someone comments a keyword like "link", Quegly sends them a DM automatically
- Write a few versions of the message and it picks one at random, plus an optional public reply under the comment
- See every DM sent in the activity feed
Teams and brands
- Up to 6 workspaces, one for each brand or client
- Invite team members to schedule and post for you
Earn with Quegly
- Tap "Become an affiliate" in Settings to get your own link and QR code
- See your clicks, sales, earnings, MRR and ARR
- Earn recurring commission on everyone you refer, and cash out right in the app
- Built on the Affiliateo API (my other Shipaton project)
For developers
- REST API to schedule posts, upload media and read analytics
- Make API keys right in the app
- Docs with llms.txt, so AI agents can post for you
How it uses RevenueCat
- The app sells Creator, Pro and Agency plans, monthly or yearly, through the RevenueCat SDK with our own paywall
- The creator, pro and agency entitlements unlock each plan
- A RevenueCat webhook, an instant check after each purchase and an hourly repair job all read the plan from RevenueCat's API, so a paying customer never loses access
How I built it
- iPhone and iPad app in Swift and SwiftUI, built in two days live on stream
- Backend in TypeScript on Cloudflare
- 12 languages, and Arabic flips the app right to left
- Built solo
Challenges
- Every platform has its own rules. TikTok doesn't allow presetting privacy, and YouTube's API can't send collaborator invites
- iPhone videos are HEVC and HDR, so the app converts them on the phone to a format every platform accepts
What I'm proud of
- Live on the App Store since September 30
- During Shipaton, 243 posts went out through Quegly, with about 144,000 views
- I use it for my own apps every day
