The challenge at the Queen's Engineering Competition was to bring a new vision to life by crafting a unique social media platform in just 6 hours.
What it does
Introducing Focus Feed - a personalized social media experience that caters to individual interests and lifestyles. With user data as its foundation, the app delivers a stream of curated content including videos, tutorials and helpful links, ensuring a meaningful and relevant experience for each user.
How we built it
Using the power of Android Studio, Flutter, and Dart, we engineered a fully-functional social media app that stood out as both aesthetically pleasing and functional in the competition.
Challenges we ran into
With a tight deadline of 6 hours, we faced the challenge of not only developing a top-notch app, but also presenting it and writing a comprehensive report. Despite these hurdles, we were able to overcome them through effective time management and teamwork.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Our hard work paid off as we accomplished the seemingly impossible feat of delivering a functioning app, a captivating presentation, and a thorough report all within the given time frame.
What we learned
