We were inspired by learning displays at the St. Louis Science Center that had applications hosted on tablets/digital displays that you could interact with and learn from

Quasar Query has two main functions. The foremost of these is querying a Gemini api + Celestia celestial body data base about something you are interested in. Gemini draws from the database and its generative features to deliver a text summary to 11Labs, which then generates a narrative audio clip. From there, Celestia is opened and navigates to the queried celestial body while playing the informative audio clip.

Secondly, there is a built-in educational game called Orbital Archery that is designed to teach kids about orbital mechanics. This way, our project caters to a wider range of visitors to a place like the St. Louis Science Center as we have the database query visualization and narration tool for teens and the orbital mechanics educational game for people of all ages!

So, what's next? We want to flush out the database we are using to safeguard against misinformation by decreasing the amount of information Gemini needs to generate on its own. We also want to feed information about queried stars to the Orbital Archery game to have scenarios that reflect the queried star.
