Inspiration

The quarantine period is obviously one of the loneliest and the most boring experiences one can have. We understand the pain of being separated from your loved ones. Hence we came up with QUARTY- Your personalised Quarantine party. Bring home a new Quarantine experience, never experienced before.

What it does

It is a mobile-first web platform for covid diagnosed people to get connected and give provide then a way to express themselves fully. Users can get real-time emergency lead information right when they need it in a hassle-free and organised platform. Users also get access to Preventive measures & Best practices to build back health from medical professionals

How we built it

We built a mobile-first web platform with Django in the Backend and Jinja in the Frontend. We have also deployed a posts recommendation system for users' feed and a user-user recommendation system to get connections based on users' interests using Tfidf vectorizer and cosine similarity.

Challenges we ran into

Developing the front-end in core HTML and Jinja staying awake all night to complete it. Getting the initial sample data to test our recommendation models was challenging. Implementing the recommendation systems using different lists and dictionaries and DSA concepts to make the user-user social recommendation was challenging.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created a fully working Frontend and Backend within the time. Created all the UI/UX designs and demo videos.

The ultimate objective is to change the way people experience health by providing them support, company, and much-required content to build back health at one platform. We want to make people conscious of the fact that health is something that you build over time and we all can do it by just taking charge of our life. We want to contribute to building a healthy, positive, and beautiful planet.
