Thousands of lives are being perished every single day by something so small, so unthinkable, yet very little is being done about it. In a world where Lysol spray has become our perfume, hand sanitizer is known as hand lotion, and the news is our ongoing novel and no one is able to predict what’s truly going to happen next. It all started when my own father was laying on a hospital bed unable to breathe. No one in my family knew what to do. We were all helpless. That’s when the Digital Dreamers came to be. As a team, our friends came together to create a positive impact. After all, creating an impact should be everyone’s goal. Makeup’s Hackathon has given us the opportunity to not only help the ones we love but also people worldwide. Our purpose is to make someone’s day by communicating with patients while they are quarantined. Communication is an integral part of someone’s life and technological advancements have given us a chance to be together even when we are physically alone. I used HTML and CSS to create the website by using repl.it as well as the website for online free chatting. But in the process, our team definitely had to overcome some obstacles when it came to HTML and CSS because we would see syntax errors sometimes. But with the help of the mentors and some resourceful videos, we have figured out a way to create an amazing website that can help COVID-19 patients and survivors. As beginners to this hackathon not knowing CSS, HTML, or python we feel we were able to solve our purpose of helping others in the community. We hope to further expand our impact through digital technology
