What it does
🧠 Memory AI Assistant – Detect What You Forget in Real-Time
What it does: While packing or leaving, it reminds you: “You forgot your charger!” — trained using object detection + habits. Tech: Custom YOLO + daily routine ML training
How we built it
Challenges we ran into
Like any ambitious idea, Quantix faced its share of hurdles:
💭 Designing a natural memory simulation using minimal resources.
🧠 Creating a memory engine that mimics human recall logic.
🔄 Building an intuitive UX where users don’t feel they’re “filling forms” but instead “talking to a helpful assistant.”
⚙️ Managing real-time feedback and corrections (e.g., user says “I forgot my charger” — system marks it and offers suggestions next time).
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Successfully deployed a full-stack AI assistant on Render.
🤖 Integrated AI-powered text analysis for smarter memory recall.
🛠️ Developed with scalability in mind — laying groundwork for future computer vision/IoT integrations.
🧑💻 Open-sourced the project on GitHub for future collaborators and learners.
What we learned
What's next for Quantix MemoryWe’re just scratching the surface. Coming next:
🎥 Visual Item Detection using webcam to detect if key items are missing (e.g., detecting a bag, charger, keys, etc.).
📲 Mobile App Version for on-the-go accessibility.
🔔 Proactive Memory Alerts — reminders before leaving your room based on context ("Did you take your ID card for college?").
🧩 Integration with smart home devices and daily routines.
