Inspiration
The lack of a proper financial collaboration resource for students living together.
What it does
Allows users to manage purchased items by themselves or other members in order to share or reject accountability based off of use of shared or unused items
How we built it
Built with flutter and javascript. Pixel art used for representation of groups and interactive items.
Challenges we ran into
Building something that is not only aesthetic and enjoyable to use, but something that has every relevant financial collaboration feature that a student may require.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We believe that we were able to successfully create the all-in-one app that was envisioned at the end of our mockup phase of the project.
What we learned
That flutter may be the single best option for building a functional (android) application in a limited time frame.
What's next for Quamblr
Adding the couple extra features that will transform the project into something truly scalable. This can be done by enhancing the game-fi aspect, allowing users to unlock the different characters and incentivising interaction through in-app rewards.
