Inspiration

Our inspiration was our own personal struggles that we had trying to get an internship. It is a tough market out there and this tool gives the user a leg up.

What it does

There are many features in which previous and following answers provide but put simply: Resume analyzer, intelligent job board, chat bot for all your job-related questions, and a resource page for even more help

How we built it

We programmed this mostly with React.js, CSS, and HTML, along with python for a webscraper that assisted with our intelligent job board.

Challenges we ran into

There were some elements of this project that took longer than we would have hoped because of some small mistake that we missed. However, we learned how to effectively navigate stressful situations as a team and solve them as quickly as possible.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

In the course of this 24 hour period, we were able to accomplish the vast majority of our lofty goals including an LLM AI resume analyzer, which can provide suggestions for what to change in your resume and also what opportunities to pursue to better your chances at your dream job, as well as your current standing for your goal, an intelligent job board that caters to a user's preferences, a chat bot that can help with all your questions about the job process and similar topics.

What we learned

Some of us were unfamiliar with front-end development before we began this experience and we came out of it much more equipped to deal with these problems.
