Quadira | The Capable

We were moved by the stories of Afghan girls who lost access to formal schooling after 2021. Many of these girls still study in secret, learning from siblings or old notebooks. We wanted to honor that resilience without sensationalizing it, to show the quiet courage of a child who refuses to let her dreams be erased

This is a story of Quadira, a young girl who yearns to learn. When she can’t attend school, she teaches herself using chalk, mud walls, and her imagination.
