Inspiration
A few members had played carrom board before and wanted to make it available online to reach a larger audience of people.
What it does
Our website provides a simulated version of carrom board, and some facts about it's history and how to play.
How I built it
We used HTML and CSS to build the webpage, and used JavaScript to develop the game.
Challenges I ran into
Finding an efficient collaborative development platform, determining how to represent each coin piece in the code, saving review input data with each reload of the site, navigating CSS for image overlaps, shadows, special effects, etc.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Having a functional animation for the game, building a multi-page website, allowing for interaction between objects in the game.
What I learned
UI development, game development.
What's next for QuackHacks
Creating a multi player version of the game, and improving game play as a whole.
