Inspiration
QSTN is an emerging Web3 data platform looking to disrupt the advertising industry by giving individuals power and control over their data.
Launching an application on NEAR Protocol that focuses on consumer data privacy is paramount to the future of web security and internet data regulations as the world transitions to a Web3 structure.
What it does
As a data platform, the virtual ANSR credit, allows users to earn rewards in tokenized form each time they answer a question on-chain. Data has become a human rights issue and our goal is to bridge that gap by creating new tools on Web 3.0 which empower end-users.
The credit not only incentivizes collaboration between companies and consumers but also creates a sustainable data economy to showcase the true value of our data. QSTN is being implemented on NEAR because gas fees for thousands of daily, microtasks would be ridiculously expensive on Ethereum.
How we built it
QSTN is Web3 infrastructure to accelerate the adoption of data monetization. Since users can earn with or without a Web3 wallet, allows our design to act as an on-ramp into the world of blockchain and NFTs.
We aim to do this by taking advantage of the low gas, scalable environment offered on NEAR to allow users to earn credits, mint NFTs and transfer assets without exorbitant transactional fees.
Our design is a centralized system “wrapped” with Web3 extensions so that users can sign up using Twitter or Facebook but still mint NFTs once they create or connect a wallet.
Mission
The next evolution for the Internet, Web3, will open new frontiers that we’ve never seen before. For the first time, users truly own and control their data in permission-less environments and with complete freedom to handle their activities as they see fit.
This new web is called to revolutionize the way we create and share data, all of this thanks to decentralized protocols such as NEAR Protocol and purposeful projects like QSTN.
