QSense came from wanting tech that actually helps people slow down instead of adding more noise. I wanted to build a smart assistant that fits into everyday life, supports reflection and faith, and feels intentional rather than overwhelming.

During the hackathon, I focused on building a voice-based assistant that can listen, understand natural speech, and respond thoughtfully. One of the biggest challenges was getting live speech recognition to work reliably in a loud environment and managing wake words, timing, and responses without things breaking.

Overall, this project pushed me to think more deeply about real-time systems and how small design choices make a big difference in how technology feels to use.
