Inspiration
Felt inspired to have a real hands on experience when it comes to develop a mobile application. In that way, broad our coding skills as well as gaining more team work experience.
What it does
It generates a QR code after writing a custom message, upload important files or business cards, and even your portfolio website. It also gives the option to the user to save the QR code to your phone or share it with your friends and family.
How we built it
We built the mobile interface with React Native and used Python as our core language to generate the QR code. Although, we couldn't implement the python file. We got the mobile interface very presentable.
Challenges we ran into
- Difficulties to implement the python file into our React Native folder.
- Unfamiliar with React Native as this was our first time developing a mobile app.
- Teammate learned Python basics for the first time but had good process throughout the Hackathon weekend. ## Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Learned React Native and got hands on experience when developing a mobile application.
- Teammate really understood the basics of Python and his interest in learning more has increased.
- Though, we couldn't finished our project 100%. We are proud that we got a fully working mobile interface. ## What we learned
- Mobile Development
- Teammate got his real hands on experience with a coding language.
- Teamwork and leadership
- Teammate felt really proud on working on a project in his first hackathon despite his challenges.
