Difficulties in managing shell-hacks meals

What it does

The API provides endpoints to register users, get their QR codes and keep track or their meals. There is also and endpoint for an automated check-in, which checks if the participant's location is the same as the events.

How I built it

The API was built in python with the Django framework, swagger was used for the api schema documentation, Openshift was used as the container deployment strategy, and Jenkins was used to set up pipelines for the containerization and deployment of the program.

Challenges I ran into

Getting the user's location based on an API request was a particularly tricky challenge.
