Teams don't struggle because people are incapable. They struggle because people process information, communicate, make decisions, and respond to pressure differently. Most workplace tools measure performance after problems appear. We wanted to help teams understand those differences before they become conflict.

What we built

Qonnect Teams turns Human OS profiles into practical guidance for managers and teammates. It provides five Manager Briefs for common situations: running meetings, giving feedback, making decisions, resolving tension, and onboarding.

Teams also receive shared working agreements, individual teammate guides, and Qgent, a private LLM that answers questions on team members HOS results.

The system does not rank employees or make hiring, firing, promotion, or compensation recommendations.

How we built it

We built Qonnect Teams with React, TypeScript, Cloudflare Workers, Pages, and D1. The Team HOS engine is deterministic, so the core patterns and evidence do not depend on a language model. Claude is used only to turn that verified context into conversational guidance.

Codex and GPT-5.6 helped us design the architecture, implement permissions and consent, build the frontend, write tests, integrate production branches, and deploy the system.

What we learned

The biggest lesson was that workplace insight is only useful when it leads to action. Managers do not need another personality dashboard. They need to know how to communicate effectively to their team members in tomorrow’s meeting.

The hardest challenge was balancing usefulness with privacy. We designed the product so participation is explicit, guidance is evidence-linked, weak signals are suppressed, and employees can see the durable guidance written about them.
